I really enjoy Scorpion. Sylvester is my favourite, too. He always seems so nice and I love how he continuously faces his fears to help the people he loves.
You know, I used to watch Eureka -- or, A Town Called Eureka as it was called here religiously, but I can't actually remember how it ended. I'm wondering if I didn't catch the latter seasons because you'd think it would be something that would stick in my mind.
No, you're doing a great job of saying why you loved the shows. I watched Buffy, but wasn't a huge fan like many other people, but Firefly I loved. I watched it much later than a lot of people, which meant I could watch the movie after finishing the eps, and it broke me. I'm sure you know when.
I watch a lot of TV but the one I really fell for lately was Code Black. It may not be your thing as you don't mention gritty medical shows but it grabbed me hard. Which surprised me as I haven't followed a medical show since ER. I just really enjoy the characters and the pacing.
